I now regret not buying the Stampin’ Up large number framelits! I try so hard not to look back with regret for not buying something before it retires, but those numbers! I didn’t even want to make a “number” card before the last few months (of course, AFTER the numbers were gone). Well, I am glad I did grab a set of the large letter framelits! I used the current Mosaic Mood Speciality Designer Series paper in Terracotta Tile and colored in some of the white squares with my So Saffron marker. The darker layer of the “ONE” is Pretty Peacock, with the top layer being So Saffron. This color combination is brought to you by CAS Colours & Sketches Blog #339 (Terracotta Tile, So Saffron, Pretty Peacock). Seize the Birthday challenge #174-It’s just a Number and Daring Cardmakers-Got Your Number challenge had me reaching for the number framelits (that I don’t have!), so I improvised with the word “ONE”. I needed a card for a friend’s son’s 1st birthday and I don’t have any “baby” or “kid” stamp sets. I am pleased with how this turned out and can’t wait to “WOW” the 1 year old (hahaha, ok, WOW the parents!).
Great card – perfect for a first birthday! Thanks for joining us this week at CC&S!

I love the pattern paper you put behind the die cut sentiment. And the idea of using “one” for this card instead of “number” die cut is really great! Thank you for playing along with CC&S challenge, PJ. And I hope I will have a change to see your another peices on our gallery soon.
