The Annual 2023-2024 catalog has been live for a few months now, but I just got to playing with some of my goodies I ordered from it. I am pretty pleased with the colors that are returning with the new color refresh. AND I love all the new colors, Azure Afternoon being my absolute favorite! I stayed with my favorite bright colors for this card, having fun with the balloon die cuts. I love these little balloons better than any other “balloon” option SU! has had in the past. Balloons are just fun celebratory shapes, so easy to use for a more “kid” or “masculine” card. The Global Design Project GDP#402 sketch was the inspiration for the first card. I flipped the sketch to be horizontal and really wanted to just focus on two colors, Lemon Lime Twist and Azure Afternoon. My favorite set from the catalog so far is the Beautiful Balloons stamp set and coordinating dies. The Bright & Beautiful 6×6 designer series paper has so many fun designs. The second card shows off my favorite striped pattern designer series paper. So bright and fun! This set has been fun to play with, since I gravitate a lot towards flowers in my card making.
